Michelle Riehn, M.A., L.P.C., N.C.C., B.C.N., R.P.T., has been a practicing licensed professional counselor (L.P.C.) for over twenty-five years. She works with children age three and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Michelle earned her Master of Arts in Community Counseling and Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri State University. Michelle is a National Certified Counselor (N.C.C.). She is Board Certified in Neurofeedback (B.C.N), and is a Registered Play Therapist (R.P.T.). She is also certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma (ITCT).
While completing her undergraduate studies, she worked in a residential facility with individuals with developmental disabilities. She developed a program to assist individuals with disabilities to live independently. During her graduate studies, she was the founding executive director of a regional family crisis center where she secured funding to staff and construct a facility that continues to benefit the area it serves. Upon completion of her graduate degree in 1997, Michelle accepted a position as a clinical therapist in a community mental health facility. In 2001, she opened a private practice in Perryville where she provided services to a diverse population and diagnoses. She joined Brad Robison, M.D., and Associates in 2019.
