Gloria Miller received her Masters in Psychological Counseling in 1990 from Southeast Missouri State University and has been a licensed professional counselor since 1993. She received a certification as a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor in 2000.
Gloria has worked in a variety of settings including a community mental health agency, private practice, elementary school, adoption agency, and as a coordinator for Intensive In-Home Services, a program designed to provide intensive assistance to families who are at risk of having children removed from the home due to abuse and neglect.
Ms. Miller joined our practice in 2008 and works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Some of the issues addressed in therapy include: trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, adjustment, values clarification, eating disorders, and mood disorders. The acronym CARE describes her therapeutic approach.
